Vectech wins Unite for Sight Global Health Innovation Competition

Vectech, a startup developing innovative insect detection and monitoring technologies, announced today it had won the $10,000 Unite for Sight Global Health & Innovation Conference Pitch Competition. Vectech was one of several teams who competed during the pitch competition at Unite for Sight's annual meeting. Adam Goodwin, Vectech's Chief Technology Officer, accepted the $10,000 award. 

Vectech is developing applied optics and computer vision approaches that are able to identify vector species. Vectech's technology can be implemented in a variety of tools, from public health operations, to citizen science, and entomolgical research.
