Vectech publishes paper on novel mosquito identification approaches in Scientific Reports

Vectech, a startup developing innovative insect detection and monitoring technologies, announced today it has published a paper titled Mosquito species identification using convolutional neural networks with a multitiered ensemble model for novel species detection in Scientific Reports. The paper outlines novel methods used to enable the practical implementation of convolutional neural networks in mosquito surveillance practice. The full paper can be accessed here.
