Vectech Announces MosID Beta Program for Summer 2021

Vectech, a startup developing innovative insect detection and monitoring technologies, announced today it has launched its summer 2021 beta customer program. MosID is Vectech's initial product for automated identification of mosquito species. The system consists of: 

  • An optimized optical configuration for imaging multiple mosquitoes at once 

  • Vectech's computer vision platform for mosquito species identification

  • A dashboard to control the MosID device and visualize surveillance data.

Participation in the beta customer program is currently limited to select districts in the US by invitation only. Public health organizations and districts interested in being added to our waitlist can write to us at [email protected].
