Vectech announces new headquarters in historic Meadow Mill building in Baltimore

Vectech, a startup developing innovative insect detection and monitoring technologies, announced today it will open a new headquarters office in the Meadow Mill building in Baltimore. The company site at 3600 Clipper Mill Rd, Ste 205, includes dedicated research and development space and will house up to ten employees. 

"Importantly, Vectech's new headquarters will centralize our resources, including a new state of the art laboratory, that will enable us to deliver our technology faster and better serve our customers," said Adam Goodwin, Chief Technology Officer of Vectech. "Additionally, Meadow Mill's location in the Woodberry and Hampden neighborhoods is next to public transportation, entertainment, and restaurants that will our team and their families will appreciate."  

The company selected the Meadow Mill building following an extensive search for dedicated office space in Baltimore City.

"We are proud to call Baltimore home and establish our new headquarters in Meadow Mill, where we can recruit local talent, engage with the Baltimore business community, and accelerate our growth."  

About the Meadow Mill building: 

Built in 1877, Meadow Mill has over 100 years of history manufacturing twine, lamp wicks, cotton duck (a heavy canvas used primarily for ship sails), and, when during the building’s time as a London Fog factory, raincoats. In 2000, Himmelrich Associates acquired and adapted the building for a wide mix of uses including offices, a gym, a restaurant, and a bakery.
